The Site
The Enchanted Wardrobe started out as a section on two of my Harry Potter Sites (Only You and Too Many Weasleys?) and quickly grew to be something much bigger. I noticed that Harry Potter Costuming was becoming a big thing, especially for the Premiers and Book Release Parties. When I started on my own HP costume, I didn't have any idea where to look. I started searching ebay, talking to others that I just happened upon, and just accidentally finding new things out there. My goal was to have the most authentic costume as possible, one where it looked like I had just come off the set! Luckily, there were other people out there who were wanting the same thing, and those who were working on creating the actual parts! After joining several costuming communities and groups, as well as receiving a number of emails asking for more information and ideas, I decided to branch off my little 'Gladrags' section into it's own site, and so nearly 3 years after I started my adventure into Harry Potter Costuming, The Enchanted Wardrobe was born! I hope you'll find this site helpful!

The Name
Coming up with the actual name for the site was rough. I'd been using Gladrags on the other pages, but didn't want to use such a common name here. But what to use instead was a problem. Eventually, I came up with a number of potential names, and just happened to like The Enchanted Wardrobe the best.
